Built with every-day running in mind, the adidas Solarglide 5 features a Bubble Boost midsole consisting of hundreds of Boost capsules that are fused together and ready to explode with energy in each step. The torsion system has an updated Linear Energy Push (LEP), fitted to the outsole for a stride with response.
DESIGNED WITH THE PLANET IN MIND
The adidas Solarglide 5 has a Primeblue knit upper, made in part from Parley Ocean Plastic, reimagined plastic waste that has been intercepted in coastal communities to prevent it from polluting our oceans. The footwear consists of yarn that contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic and the other 50% of the yarn is recycled polyester.
During the development phase, the team behind the shoe conducted a variety of tests to ensure that the women’s silhouette of Solarglide has the best possible fit for female runners.
