ALTON – The Sierra Club speaker series event will be held in-person at the Old Bakery Beer Company at 400 Landmarks Blvd. in Alton. The speaking program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The McCully Heritage Project is a 940-acre non-profit environmental center in Calhoun County. Michelle Berg will discuss the history and current programs at the McCully Heritage Project, as well as the environmental education opportunities the project offers. The McCully Wetland will be 25 years old next year, and it has reached full maturity. The wetland is also home to a beaver family.
