The High Plains and Clearview library districts as well as the Loveland Public Library offer a variety of programs and activities for all ages.

Check out this list of library events for the week of Sept. 24-30, 2022.

The bookmobile is scheduled to make a stop at 3 p.m. Monday at Founders Green Park, 1201 Grand Ave., Windsor. All ages of community members are invited to come and check out what materials the bookmobile has to offer.

Read, Rhyme and Romp in Severance is set to take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Blue Spruce Park, 103 Blue Spruce Drive, Severance. The event will feature an active storytime of books, rhymes and songs for children ages birth to 6 years and their parent or guardian.  Registration is required and can be done by going to https://bit.ly/3Bk8VEi.

Storytime and a Craft in Severance will take place at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Blue Spruce Park, 103 Blue Spruce Drive, Severance with stories, songs, rhymes and a craft for children ages birth to 6 years and their parent or guardian. Come checkout what the bookmobile has to offer when it makes a stop at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Windsor Charter Academy, 680 Academy Court. All ages are welcome to attend.

Storytime with ASL with Miss Christy is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in the large meeting room at the library, 720 3rd St., Windsor. Miss Christy will read books while teaching little ones basic words in American Sign Language Registration is required and the event is geared toward children ages birth to 6 years. Pick up some mid-week reading materials when the bookmobile makes a stop at 4 p.m. at Windshire Park, 1520 Dartford Drive in Windsor. All ages are invited to come out and see what the bookmobile has to offer.

We Dream in STEAM is set for 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library, located at 720 3rd St., Windsor. The program will incorporate information and activities focused on the world of science, technology, engineering, art and math for kids ages 9-12. Registration is required to attend. The bookmobile is scheduled to make a stop at 3 p.m. Thursday at 86th Avenue Court and W. 19th Street in Greeley. All ages are invited to come and see what materials the bookmobile has to offer.

The Library Board is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the large meeting room at the library, 720 3rd St., Windsor. All ages are invited to come and learn about new programs, submit suggestions and concerns and learn how they can help support their local library. Registration is not required to attend. Babies and Books will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the library, 720 3rd St., Windsor. The program is geared toward little ones ages birth to 6 years and their parent or guardian and will include books, rhymes, songs, sensory activities and more. Registration is required to attend. Check out some weekend reading materials for the whole family when the bookmobile makes a stop at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Range View Elementary School, 700 Ponderosa Drive, Severance. All ages are invited to come and see what materials the bookmobile has to offer.

The VROOM McDonalds Event is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at 2912 W. 10th St. in Greeley. The family-focused event will feature children’s toys, learning activities, storytime, giveaways and more. Registration is open for Yoga at the Library at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Kersey Library, 332 3rd St. The program offers beginners the opportunity to learn fundamentals from hatha yoga and Vinyasa flow. The Write Stuff: Kids Fiction Writing Workshop is set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Centennial Park Library, 2227 23rd Ave., Greeley. The event is open to kids ages 8-13 and will include tips on fiction writing, lessons and writing exercises. Registration is required and can be done by going to https://bit.ly/3dgZzkH.

Farr Music and Movement Storytime will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the Farr Regional Library, 1939 61st Ave., Greeley. The program is designed for children ages 3-5 years and their parent or guardian and will feature activities that enhance motor skills and early literacy skills. School’s Out! Explorers of the Ocean is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Centennial Park Library, 2227 23rd Ave., Greeley. The Riverside Readers are scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Riverside Library and Cultural Center, 3700 Golden St., Evans. The group will be discussing the book, “100 Things We’ve Lost to the Interest” by Pamela Paul. The club is open to adults age 18 and older. Join the Milliken Library for a storytime at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Glenn A. Jones MD Memorial Library, 1109 Broad St. The event is geared toward little ones ages birth to 6 years and their parent or guardian and will include books, stories and songs. The Eaton Library Yarn Yakkers are scheduled to meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the library at 132 Maple Ave. The group, open to adults age 18 and older, will gather to socialize while working on knitting and crochet projects. You Got This: Life Skills for Independent Living is set for 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Centennial Park Library, 2227 23rd Ave., Greeley. The program is designed for kids and young adults ages 12-23 and will cover a variety of topics that foster independent living skills. Make the middle of the week a fun one by having the littles tune into Storytime at Home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday online. The program, geared toward children ages 3 and older, will feature stories, songs and rhymes from the comfort of their home. Registration is required to view the program. Lunch and Learn is set for noon Wednesday online for adults age 18 and older. Sheila Beckley, extension agent for CSU Family and Consumer Science department, will be providing tips and tricks on how to cook using and InstaPot. The Riverside STEM Club will be meeting at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Riverside Library and Cultural Center, 3700 Golden St., Evans. Farr Twinkle Babies Storytime will take place at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Farr Regional Library, 1939 61st St., Greeley. The lap-sit story time, designed for caregivers and children ages birth to 3  years, will feature age-appropriate plays, songs, books and activities. Lincoln Park Music and Movement is set for 10 a.m. Thursday at 1012 11th St., Greeley. The program is for children and their family and will get them up and moving to fun music and stories. Registration is not required to attend. For more information, go to https://bit.ly/3qKq1Gk.

Teens ages 11-17 are invited to participate in a volunteer service project from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday at the library, 300 N. Adams Ave. Teens can work on fulfilling volunteer hours for school or other organizations by helping with a variety of tasks and projects. Registration is not required to attend. Join the Community Drum Circle at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Norma and Lynn Hammond Amphitheater, 2750 N. Taft Ave., Loveland. All ages are welcome to attend the free interactive event. Research shows that drumming provides a variety of benefits including reduction in stress, tension and anxiety levels. Registration is required to attend. BuzzWords at Verboten Brewing is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday at 127 E. 5th St. in Loveland. The event is an informal nonfiction book club for adults age 18 and older. The group will be discussing the book, “Nudge: The Final Edition” by Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Grab a blanket, your little ones and head over to Preschool Outdoor Storytime at 10 a.m. Tuesday on the lawn of the library, located at 300 N. Adams Ave. The program is designed for children ages 3-5  years and their parent or guarding and will include books, songs and activities that foster early literacy skills. Expand your smartphone skills by attending the Android Smartphone 201 class at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the iLearn Classroom at the library, 300 N. Adams Ave. The class will teach adults age 18 and older how to use the internet browser, file storage management, device care and more. Registration is required to attend. The Teens vs. Librarians showdown is scheduled to throwdown at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library, 300 N. Adams Ave. Teens ages 11-17 can compete against their favorite librarian in a variety of challenges for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights. Registration is not required to attend. Join Ms. Claudeth for stories, music, plays and more at the bilingual outdoor storytime at 11 a.m. on the lawn of the library, 300 N.
